Export X Community Members to CSV
Export every member of any public X (Twitter) Community to CSV or Excel. No X account, no browser extension — your login and cookies stay untouched. Free, up to 1,000 members per export.
Safer than the Chrome-extension exporters
Most existing X Community exporters are browser extensions that ride your logged-in X session — they read your cookies and act as you, putting your account at risk if the extension turns malicious or X flags the activity. This tool runs entirely on our server using public community pages. We never see your X login, never touch your cookies, and never act on your behalf.
How It Works
Three steps. No login required.
Paste Community URL
Open your X Community page, copy the URL, and paste it into the X Community Exporter above. Numeric Community IDs work too.
Fetch Members
We page through your community and pull every member — handle, display name, role, profile URL — with a live preview as the list grows.
Download CSV / Excel
Save the full member list to CSV or Excel. Re-import anywhere — Telegram, Discord, XChat, your own tools.
Why Use This Exporter
Built for moderators and anyone who needs a clean member list — without installing a browser extension or handing over your X login.
Any public X Community
Paste a community URL or numeric ID. We page through the full roster and pull every member — handle, display name, role, and profile URL.
CSV & Excel, ready to use
Export to a spreadsheet you can re-import anywhere — Telegram, Discord, your CRM, or your own scripts. No cleanup needed.
Free, no account
No login, no credit card, no paid tier. Export up to 1,000 members per community at no cost.
Who Uses This Tool
Built for moderators exporting their own communities — useful any time you need a clean export of an X Community member list.
Community moderators backing up their list
You spent months or years building this group. Keep an off-platform backup of the member list, or migrate everyone to Telegram, Discord, or XChat whenever you want.
Migrating to Telegram or Discord
Use the exported handle list to DM every member with your new group invite link, or to bulk-tag them on an announcement post.
Audience research & outreach
Sort by role to find your admins / moderators, then enrich the full handle list with your own tools (CRM, lookup APIs) for deeper analysis.
Archival & record-keeping
Snapshot your community membership for the record — useful for tracking growth over time or keeping a backup independent of X.
Frequently Asked Questions
Did X shut down Communities?
X announced in April 2026 that Communities would be discontinued, but the shutdown was postponed and the feature is still live. This exporter keeps working as long as the community page is publicly accessible on X.
Do I need to be a moderator of the community?
Any public community is exportable by anyone. We recommend using this tool on communities you administer, manage, or are an active member of — both because you have a clear interest in preserving the list and because it stays within the spirit of fair use.
Is there a member-count limit?
Yes — each export is capped at 1,000 members. Larger communities will hit the cap and you'll see a notice. The cap exists so the upstream API stays responsive for everyone. A full 1,000-member export takes ~5 minutes because we pace requests to be a good citizen.
Do I need to log into X?
No. We never ask for your X credentials and never read or store your account cookies. The exporter only reads the publicly listed member roster.
Why is this safer than the Chrome-extension exporters?
The Chrome extensions doing this ride your logged-in X session — they read your X cookies and effectively act as you to scrape the member list. That puts your X account at risk if (1) the extension turns malicious in a future update, (2) X flags the automated activity and suspends you, or (3) the extension developer's infrastructure gets compromised. This tool is a regular web app — no extension to install, no permission to your X session, nothing running in your browser tab.
What's in the CSV / Excel file?
For each member: @handle, display name, verified flag, role (Admin / Moderator / Member), and profile URL. X's member-list API doesn't expose follower count, bio, or location for community members, so we don't pretend to either.
Can I export private (admin-only) communities?
Private communities aren't supported in this version. The exporter reads the public member list — the same data anyone visiting the community page can see.
Where does the data go after I download it?
The CSV / Excel file is generated and downloaded directly in your browser. We don't keep a copy — once you close this tab the data is gone from our side.
